Become a Program Partner

Arts to Grow offers classes in the performing, visual, and literary arts to schools, community centers, and neighborhood based youth organizations. We seek to partner with programs working with youth ages 5-18 who have limited access to quality arts learning opportunities.

Arts to Grow looks to develop partnerships that encompass shared responsibilities, strong communications, and community buy-in to create a successful experience for young people.

All program partners pay a negotiated fee to Arts to Grow. A significant proportion of program costs are supported through philanthropic investments.

As program provider, Arts to Grow is responsible for:

  • Paying all costs associated with recruiting, placing, and hiring teaching artists
  • Providing professional and administrative support of teaching artists
  • Providing course curriculum and lesson plans
  • Maintaining daily class attendance sheets
  • Invoicing Program Partner for each Arts to Grow class cycle
  • Conducting group student interviews about the class

As a Program Partner, each school / community organization is responsible for:

  • Participating in three or more planning meetings during each ATG class cycle
  • Leading class recruitment efforts
  • Scheduling a room for each Arts to Grow class
  • Paying Arts to Grow fee for each cycle
  • Supporting the teaching artists with an on-site staff person who is available to assist with supplies, facility issues, and when possible, classroom management
  • Participating in a culminating event

If your school / community organization is interested in offering young people arts classes in partnership with Arts to Grow, please contact Mallory King at mking@artstogrow.org for more information.
