Alex Starace

Alex Starace writes and edits content for Arts to Grow. He has also served as co-editor of the online magazine Professor Yeti and has done freelance writing for mnartists.org, Rain Taxi, and other magazines. During the day, he works as an Investigator for the City of New York.

 

Angela Cove

Angela Cove dedicates her life to her two boys and volunteering for organizations that cater to children in need, in particular Arts to Grow. Angela is a real estate agent for Halstead Property. She does some print modeling, but her passion is acting.

Brian Doyle

Brian Doyle is an executive with the global management consultancy, Accenture where he helps Fortune 500 corporations to develop their operational strategies and execute large-scale, global transformation. In his current role, he leads the Product Innovation & PLM practice for both the consumer packaged goods as well as chemical industries in North America.

 

Charles Steinberg

Charles Steinberg specializes in programming and teaching artist recruitment. Steinberg is a dancer and freelance photographer and has taught photography in New York, and dance to youth groups in California, Germany, and Scotland. He currently resides in New York City. 

 

Christine Chen

Christine Chen is the Silent Auction Coordinator for the 2010 Arts to Grow Gala. She works as a Financial Analyst for an investment banking firm. She is also a professional screenwriter with a passion for films, classical music, and community service.

Karen Guterl is a corporate communications professional, most recently with Booz & Company, providing Arts to Grow with writing and editing support and communications guidance. Kathryn Porter

Kathryn Porter is the co-founder of Designlounge, Inc. (http://www.designlounge.com/). The company created Arts to Grow's Web site as a pro bono project.

 

Kimberley Jordan

Kimberley Jordan (in memoriam) was responsible for spearheading development of Arts to Grow's 2009/2010 Public Relations Plan. She was president and CEO of K. Jordan Consulting, LLC, a strategic communications consultancy specializing in developing and implementing public/media relations, corporate communications and professional/industry relations programs and strategies.

 

Lara Cely

Malecia Walker

Malecia Walker is a copy editor, editor and writer who most recently was the assistant travel editor for The Dallas Morning News.  She has also worked in news and the arts.  Her travel adventures include a trek to the top of Mount Rushmore, but her latest adventure is tutoring intermediate readers and writers at the Brooklyn Public Library.

Tricia Smit

Tricia Smit is an arts administration professional specializing in performing arts and education development, fundraising and program management.  A former dancer, she turned her sights to arts administration at a young age and has since worked with companies such as: The Joffrey Ballet, Arts for Art, Art in Odd Places, Bates Dance Festival, New Dance Alliance and currently Sens Production | Noemie Lafrance.  She currently resides in New York City with her large red dog Clifford.
